Specialty Medications

MedImpact Direct Specialty offers access to specialty drugs for chronic and complex conditions.

"Specialty medications" typically require:

  • Special handling, such as refrigeration
  • Close monitoring to see how you are doing with the drug
  • Complex administration - the way you take the drug, such as injection

These medications are used to treat complex conditions, such as cancer, hepatitis C, hemophilia, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Our dispensing pharmacy will coordinate delivery with you. They will provide personalized patient support services for these complex therapies.

Patient-Focused Dispensing and Delivery

Our pharmacies provide free shipping. Shipping times will vary, depending on the medication. The pharmacy will ship your medication to you or your provider, depending on who is administering your medication. If your provider administers your medication in their office, it will be shipped directly to your provider. If you administer the medication yourself, it will be shipped directly to you in private packaging that doesn’t indicate what is in the box.
